Voyages of Discovery

A new work for violin, cello, piano and percussion by renowned Petworth composer Terence Allbright provides the centrepiece for a concert of audacious contemporary works given by the Riot Ensemble at the Petworth Festival.

Embark on voyages of discovery to destinations including outer space (in Ann Cleare‘s 93 million miles away) and deep-water corals (Gabriella Smith‘s Anthozoa – a UK premiere). Solo pieces include works by Cassandra Miller and a brand new set of piano miniatures by rising star British composer Tom Coult.
