More Hands: A Playlist
As you’ve hopefully heard by now (!) we have a fantastic concert coming up this Thursday (31st October) at the Friend’s Meetinghouse in Brighton. We’re going to be performing a number of works by composers from the New Music Brighton Collective, while also revisiting some of our favourite chamber pieces that we performed this past year.
These works include Amy Beth Kirsten’s dramatic and virtuosic Two Monologues, Martin Suckling’s spontaneous and contemplative Three Venus Haiku, and Lutoslawski’s evocative Five Songs.
In case you haven’t yet had a chance to hear some of these works, we’ve put together a little playlist from our past performances. And remember, you can hear all these works – alongside works by New Music Brighton composers Phil Baker, Guy Richardson, Jonathan Clark and Barry Mills live at The Friend’s Meetinghouse at 7.30pm this Thursday.
